In Ukraine announced the abolition of the tax on converted cars

MPs want to cancel another automotive tax.

As you know, in 2013 Ukraine imposed an excise tax on the converted cars, writes the information legally website “I and law”.

This decision led to the following negative consequences:

the reduction of revenues from customs duties in the budget in connection with the termination of import of cars;

cessation of income tax of enterprises of Ukraine, who were involved in the conversion of vehicles from cargo to passenger;

the release of many workers of these enterprises the small and medium business.

Therefore, to increase revenues to the State and local budgets in the Parliament registered the draft Law No. 6219 dated 22.03.2017 “On amendments to the Tax code of Ukraine (concerning the abolition of taxation excise tax operations for the conversion of vehicles)”.

The document provides for the exemption of excise tax operations on re-equipment imported into the customs territory of Ukraine vehicles into excisable car.

Implementation of the bill will lead to ensuring the stable operation of enterprises of small and medium-sized businesses that spetsializiruyutsya on the retrofitting of trucks in the automobile and related manufacturing, will increase payment of taxes to local budgets.
