In Ukraine, a new international payment system

В Украине появилась новая международная платежная системаThe national Bank agreed on rules of the international payment system AVERS No. 1.

The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has agreed rules of the international payment system AVERS No. 1 and issued payment the organization of this system of PJSC Credit Optima Bank (Kiev) testimony of March 23, 2017 No. 33.

“Information about the international payment system AVERS No. 1 entered into the Register of payment systems, settlement systems, participants of these systems and operators of services of payment infrastructure”, – said the NBU.

Also clarifies that according to the rules of the international payment system AVERS No. 1 participants in the payment system can be the Ukrainian banks and non-Bank financial institutions licensed to transfer funds without opening accounts and on the basis of contract with payment organization provide services to users of the international payment system AVERS №1 with regard to the transfer of funds by using this system. A clearing Bank payment system is PJSC Credit Optima Bank.

The national Bank informs that on 27 March 2017 the register contains information about 26 international and national transfer systems, of which 19 systems created by residents (8 created by banks), and 7 systems created by nonresidents.

In January – February 2017 through systems created by both residents and non-residents are listed:

to Ukraine – $344 million (equiv.)
outside Ukraine – $42 million (equiv.)
in Ukraine of $657 million (equiv.)
