In Turkey shooting occurred near the U.S. Embassy

Turkish police on Tuesday detained the man who made the shots in front of the U.S. Embassy in Ankara a few hours after the murder of the Russian Ambassador in Turkey.

It is reported on 20 December, the Associated Press.

The man took from under his coat, shotgun and made about eight shots into the air, before the guards of the Embassy intervened and detained him. It is noted that in the incident no one was hurt.

The U.S. Embassy is across the road from the exhibition centre, where there was an attack on the Russian Ambassador. While it is not known whether these are associated with two incidents.

According to Reuters, citing state media of Turkey, at the moment Turkish police have detained six people in connection with the murder of the Russian Ambassador.

Thus, the state Anadolu news Agency informs about the detention in the Western province of aydın mother’s attacker, father, sister and two other relatives, as well as the neighbor in the apartment in Ankara.
