The building will be used under the brand name St.Regis

Skyscraper Trump International Hotel & Tower, located in downtown Toronto, Canada, has been sold and will cease to carry the name of the President of the United States Donald trump.

Bloomberg reports that the building was bought by the company JCF Capital ULC, firm, closely associated with the United States.

Sign company trump may be removed immediately after August 1, when the agreement will enter into force.

According to sources familiar with the situation, most likely, the skyscraper will be used under the brand name St.Regis Marriott International Inc.

The building was developed by Talon International Inc. since its opening in 2012, Talon has sold less than half of the apartments in the tower, and occupancy rates of the hotel were lower than expected.
