Work is created using software code and mathematical formulas.
On the screen the main square of new York city, Times Square, showed the work of the Ukrainian artist Oleg Pashkovskiy.
A video installation that was created using software code and mathematical formulae, showed in the framework of the project of modern art Decode Experiential.
“I use math functions to control the pixels on the screen. Thanks to them, they move, form patterns, images and animations. It seems to me that in contemporary art, people had a much broader palette of tools that they can use for creativity,” said Paszkowski.
According to the artist, the creation of the work took about 20 minutes, but it was preceded by three months of research and work on another similar project.
“Just enough to make this work, if you know what you want to create,” he said.
