August 26, in the social networks Facebook and Instagram failed, as reported by Twitter users from different countries.
Reports of problems with access to social networks began to appear around 16.40. Some couldn’t load the page Facebook and Instagram, others after entering the username and password appear the error message.
According to the website DownDetector, the peak number of reports of failures Facebook was in the period from 15.00 to 17.00. 45% of users complained about the lack of full access to social networks, 38% said that can’t log in to Facebook, another 15% had problems with images.
The reasons for the failure were not reported. After 17.00 the number of complaints has decreased significantly. However, to 19.00 complaints kept coming in, and at about 22.00 there was another small surge of reports of problems with the operation of social networks.
