In Volyn region detained the drunk policeman who, causing a fatal accident in the town of Novovolynsk, fled the scene of the accident.

Noted that the accident occurred yesterday at about 18:45 in the city of Novovolynsk on the street Miners. 23-year-old drunk COP, while driving a car brand “BMW-3”, made a passing maneuver and went into the oncoming lane. The result was a collision with the car “VAZ 1117”. His driver, 67-year-old man, died.
At the moment, the police detained. Now the issue of the communication of the suspicion of violation of the rules of traffic safety, entailed death of the victim (criminal offense under part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine) and the issue of election to it measures of restraint.
