More than 100 people were poisoned Mexican papaya.
In 16 States more than a hundred people poisoned papaya imported from Mexico. Ill more than 100 people, 35 were hospitalized, one person in new York died. The fruit discovered the bacteria Salmonella.
“The American center for disease control (CDC) reports that Maradol papaya, which is imported from Mexico, is the “potential pathogen”, the report said.

Among the affected States: Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
It should be noted, bacteria Salmonella may cause symptoms such as diarrhea, stomach cramps and fever.
