However, Phil ting, state Assemblyman and Chairman of the budget Committee of the state of California plans to introduce a bill that will establish that from 2040 the American traffic police will be able to put on record only those cars which do not emit carbon dioxide.
It is nothing but electric cars and other alternative-gifted cars on hydrogen or other fuel cells.
Ting said he was going to present a bill in January, when the start of the legislative session in 2018.
Currently, California is already implementing a program to reduce emissions statewide by 80% compared to 1990 levels.
