Two options of response.
The White house has focused on two experimental strategies in case the DPRK decides to launch a missile attack on American soil, as already repeatedly stated and promised in North Korea.
The first provides for the organization of cyber attacks on system launch of ballistic missiles by North Korea and “other ways of sabotage”, which will prevent the launch.
The second strategy offers a to directly shoot down missiles as they pass the “acceleration phase”. The newspaper notes that immediately after the launch of a ballistic missile will be more visible and an easy target. In order to shoot them down, the Bush administration proposes to use the fighters and drones.
However, if they fail to perform the task, the last hope will be the only rocket interceptor.
For the implementation of these experimental strategies, the White house has asked Congress for $4 billion earlier, Congress has already allocated to the Agency for missile defense, $8 billion.
We will remind, in October there appeared information about the fact that the DPRK has acquired a new ballistic missile.
And in November, a delegation of the DPRK gave Russian President Putin a letter in which it was reported about the readiness to launch a nuclear attack on the United States.
