In the United States tested a new ballistic missile for nuclear payload

The naval forces of the USA conducted tests of a new modification of the country’s only missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

We are talking about empty ballistic missile Trident II (D5LE) with an extended service life, which is also unique for the British Navy.

The tests took place in the Californian city of San Diego, the missile was successfully launched from a submarine type “Ohio” USS Maine (SSBN-741).

According to the statement, the Navy, the test run confirmed the expectations of the operational characteristics of the missiles and allowed us to collect additional data.
