Paradise Papers include about 13.4 million documents.
The international consortium of investigative journalism (ICIJ), funded, in particular, one of the funds of George Soros, together with a number of international media published Sunday materials on the activities of offshore companies in the world, mentioning 120 politicians, including the Prime Minister of Canada, members of the administration of Donald trump, Queen Elizabeth II, as well as Apple and Uber.
Selection of materials, called the Paradise Papers, includes approximately 13.4 million documents, including, presumably, of the law firm Appleby, registered in Bermuda, and covering a period of over 50 years.
Approval of the consortium, the documents reveal the offshore interests of some politicians and world leaders including the British Royal court, members of the administration of U.S. President Donald trump, the environment, the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, as well as such major companies such as Apple, Nike and Uber.
Earlier Denmark almost a million Euro bought data about its citizens, whose names are mentioned in the so-called “Panama records”.
