The senators have prepared a bill to tighten economic sanctions.
In the U.S. Senate are considering new sanctions against Russia for its aggressive actions in Ukraine and Syria.
So, the leaders of the Senate Committee on banks, has prepared a bill according to which proposed to tighten sanctions against Russia.
The initiators of the new sanctions, the Chairman of the Committee on banks Senator Mike Crapo and co-chair of the Democrats, Senator Sherrod brown noted that the restrictive measures will affect all sectors of the economy – metallurgy and railway.
“Despite current sanctions, Russia remains a hostile, rebellious power, deploys its military activities and applies resources information cyber espionage and economic leverage to harm the United States and to sow discord between them and their allies,” the statement reads senators.
We will remind, recently the us Congress supported the bill, which is planned to impose sanctions against allies of President Bashar al-Assad – Iran and Russia.
