In the United States allow a military solution to the nuclear threat of the DPRK

The US does not want war with North Korea, but “will be forced to take action” if Pyongyang were to threaten South Korea and US troops in the South.

The United States officially abandoned the policy of complete tolerance towards the North Korean regime. This was during a visit to Seoul has announced U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.

The head of the Department of state admitted the possibility of a military solution “of the Pyongyang question.”

“North Korea must understand that the only way to be safe and economically prosperous future… is the refusal of developing nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and other weapons of mass destruction,” he explained, adding that the complex of measures against North Korea have already been developed.

During the visit, Tillerson visited the 38th parallel in the Demilitarized zone dividing the Republic of Korea and the DPRK. Tomorrow he will visit Beijing.

According to Secretary of state, Washington does not want a military conflict with North Korea, but “will be forced to take appropriate measures” if the regime of Kim Jong-UN would threaten South Korea and US troops in the country.

US military action against the DPRK is not ruled out if Pyongyang still bring the nuclear program to a “threatening scale”. “We have this option (military solution to the problem – ed.),” said Tillerson.
