In the Transcarpathian region local official “lost” on a large bribe

Police managed to capture moments of transfer of a bribe of $ 500.

In the Transcarpathian region detained the Deputy head of Tyachiv police Department was caught on bribe in the amount of $ 500. This was reported by press Secretary of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Larisa Sargan on the page in Facebook.

The law promised local resident to close a criminal case against him given his high position in the structure of the police.

The person involved in criminal proceedings detained in order St. 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine. Ongoing priority investigation.

Detained for bribery under part 3 of article 368 of the criminal code of Ukraine punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from five till ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years with confiscation of property.
