Most inflation will affect vegetables, eggs and meat.
Consumer inflation in Ukraine in September 2017 in annual terms, compared with September 2016, accelerated to 16.4% from 16.2% recorded in the previous month.Compared to the previous month – August – fixed inflation rate of 2%, following a 0.1 percent deflation in August versus July. Year to date, compared with December 2016, the consumer prices in Ukraine grew by 10.2%.
According to the state statistics service, the highest price growth in annual terms recorded on hot water and heating – 74,4%, the maintenance of houses and house adjoining territories – 46,5%, vegetables – 37,6%, eggs – 37%, water – 30,1%, meat and meat products – 30,1%, oil – by 29.1%.
Compared to the previous month increased the price of eggs – 31%, education – 12%, footwear – by 9.4%, clothing – by 8.7%, meat and meat products – 3.4%, fuel and oil, 2,9%, milk is 2.9%.
