In the state statistics found, as three years has changed the diet of the Ukrainians

В Госстате выяснили, как за три года изменился рацион украинцев Has become smaller.

Over the past five years, the average Ukrainian was there a month, almost 6 kg less food – talking about it data of the state service of statistics. While nutritionists say that people are not undernourished, and economists – that statistic does not account for the fact that I grew up on farms and cottages, and also bought at natural markets. Moreover, the share of the latter two factors increases every year.

Who is more

As you can see from the infographic, every year we eat less bread, potatoes, meat, dairy. Values of egg consumption and increased consumption of fruits, berries and nuts. In the state Statistics also estimate how different menu urban and rural residents. So citizens eat in a month to more than a kilogram of meat than the villagers: 5.1 kg compared with 4.1 kg of milk to drink 1.5 l more (of 18.9 and 17.4 l), eggs – 4 PCs more (20 and 16 PCs.). But in the villages eat 5 kg more potatoes than in the city (8.7 kg vs 4.7 kg), more vegetables (7.5 kg vs 5.9 kg) and bread (9.9 kg versus 8.1 kg). Fish according to the statistics of townspeople and villagers consume the same way – at 1.5 kg in a month, but sweet more like it in the boonies – on the average villager is 2.9 kg of pure sugar, in the city – 2.4 kg.

The economists

According to experts, dry the statistics do not fully reflect reality. So the Director of the Association of retail suppliers Oleksiy Doroshenko evaluates the accuracy of statistical data menu Ukrainians not less than 30%, that is not accounted for about a third of what we eat.

“The main reason is that it is impossible to take into account the informal sector of the economy, the sales in the spontaneous markets where people are increasingly going from the stores for cheapness. This is especially true of vegetables that the supermarkets in 1.5-2 times more expensive than from private owners. This may explain the decrease in consumption of potatoes and vegetables, it is unlikely that people have much less,” – said Doroshenko.

Also, in his opinion, the statistics falls river fish caught by the millions by recreational fishermen and it can be 3-5 kg per family per month. The President Ukranalittsentra Alexander Ohrimenko added that more and more people are trying to grow cottages not lawns, vegetables, berries, which also gives savings in their family budgets, but the statistics are considered to be technically. But the expert acknowledged that among the meat products in the menu of the average Ukrainian from the savings begin to dominate offal, cheap sausages, chicken, not beef or pork tenderloin.

The nutritionists

Nutritionists even “cut-down” statistics menu is considered sufficient for a person to receive the necessary amount of calories. So nutritionist Alexander Kirilenko has estimated that after reduction of the daily serving it is still sufficient to restore vitality, so people don’t starve

“This amount of food draws on 2000-2200 calories a day, which is enough for the worker engaged in physical labor, and for those who are sitting in the office, it’s even much 1600-1700 kcal”.

Worse, in her opinion what has deteriorated the quality of food, and this leads to diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

The Ministry of health against the fat and potatoes

“A menu of healthy Ukrainian”, approved by the Ministry of health about a year ago, is different from the set of products to which we are accustomed. Recall, the Ministry recommends that you eat in a day 100 grams of meat and 100 g of fish (3 kg per month), 375 g of fruits (about 11 kg per month), two eggs (60 pieces), 300 g of fruits (9 kg), 80 g of seeds or nuts (2.4 kg), drink a pint of milk or yoghurt (15 l), not to forget about sunflower oil – 70 g per day (2.1 l per month). Recommendations there are no standards for the consumption of potatoes, bread, animal fat and sweet, but the Department advised not to get involved with them, not to gain weight. Nutritionist Boris Skachko sure that you should eat per day 20-30 grams of fat and less than half “Olii”, and older – one egg a day.
