Now the Russian law enforcement authorities will have the right to shoot a woman.
Representatives of Pro-presidential party “United Russia” recommended amendments to the state law “On police”, according to which the powers of law enforcement officers regarding use of weapons will be expanded.
Politicians propose to amend part 5 of article 23 of the “Law on police”, where the words “it is prohibited to use firearms with the shooting on defeat against women” should be supplemented with the words “with visible signs of pregnancy”.
In addition, the document will give the police the right to shoot at the crowd, “to prevent (suppress) the terrorist act, the release of the hostages, the reflection group of an armed attack on crucial and potentially dangerous objects, buildings, premises, structures or objects, buildings, premises, constructions of public authorities”.
Note that under current law a police officer has no right to shoot at significant gatherings, if the result of its application can suffer random person.
However, as stated in the explanatory Memorandum to the bill, it can be done, in particular, the servicemen of the FSB and the representatives of Regardie.
Amendments to the police act also established a presumption of confidence in the actions of the police as an official.
So, the police officer, performing the duties assigned to him, and realizing rights that are granted to him “acts as the representative of the government and is under the protection of the law and the state”.
Add appropriate amendments “United Russia” has directed to the state Duma.
