The Ministry of Finance there are options for how to solve the problem with the subsidies.
The payment of the grant exceed the pledged funds to the state budget by UAH 10 billion. This was stated by Deputy Finance Minister Sergey Marchenko on Radio Freedom.
According to him, a similar problem arose in the summer, so the Ministry of Finance appealed to the Verkhovna Rada with a request to allocate additional 14 billion and the corresponding amendments to the budget.
Marchenko said that the Ministry will find a way to solve this problem.
“To date, in the budget of 61 billion. Commitments on October 1, there are 71 billion hryvnia. That is definitely not supported by budget commitments, but we hope to find a solution on this issue”, – said the Deputy Minister.
He said that before the end of the year, the government will repay all debts for energy, but will again have to amend the budget.
