Now users of Vkontakte can see how many hits scored one or the other publication.

Social network Vkontakte now allows you to see the number of views, counter — views are visible to all and are located in the lower right corner.

Innovation is works in both the web version and the app.

“Sometimes the number of “likes” does not indicate whether the entry is really interesting — the real number of views is always much more. Therefore, we introduce a new indicator: the number of views. The counter display will help to quickly track the interest records: to view confirmed, the user needs to do additional actions”, — said the head of web development social network Vadim Dorokhov on his page in the social network.

The number of views visible to all users on their own page, and pages friends and pages. However, on some posts they might be missing. As reported the press Secretary of the Kiev headquarters of VK Vlad Legotkin, views are only visible on new posts — since December.

“The new index will become an additional source of feedback and motivation for content authors, who will tell you what information is of greatest interest,” — said Legotkin.
