Russian propagandists spread reports about alleged mass poisoning of a 200-kg piece of bacon in the Kherson region.

Thus, the Russian channel “REN-TV” reported that residents of the town of Oleshky tried to set a record at a local festival by making a 200-kg piece of the giant sandwich, but it seems to have begun to go to the hospital with signs of poisoning.

Fake distributed “RIA-FAN”, “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, “Politnavigator”, “Russian spring” and others.

Local newspaper “Southern news” published a refutation of the false messages. Journalists asked for comments to the chief doctor of tsyurupinsky Central district hospital Oleg Popenko.

“I learned about this from social networks. Looked at all our magazines admissions, outpatient treatment, and those who came to hospital with the diagnosis “food poisoning” or complaining that such patients we have not received,” – said the medic.

The message about the mass poisoning also denied the organizer of the festival “Oleshye Green Day” Elena Kravchenko-puffer.

“The information disseminated on the Internet, is an absolute fake. I want to again thank the oleshkivtsi for participation in the festival and encourage them to trust only reliable media for those that have a balance of opinions! Do not read the inscriptions on the walls,” – said Kravchenko-puffer.

However, local media found out that the fake appeared on the website controlled by the mayor of Oleshky, Dmitry Voronov, who is feuding with the organizer of the festival.
