In the port of Odessa arrived a warship from Turkey

The ship of the Turkish Navy arrived with a friendly visit.

In addition to Odessa, the ship made such visits and in some other Black sea ports.

In the port of Odessa with a friendly visit to the landing ship of naval forces of the Turkish Republic, the press service of the naval forces of Ukraine.

“Today, September 10, in the port of Odessa with a friendly visit to the Navy ship of the Turkish Republic, a large landing ship “Bayraktar” (“Bayraktar”), with cadets of the naval Academy of the Turkish Republic on Board. The program of the visit envisages, in particular, the holding of a formal meeting in the Command of the naval forces of Ukraine, city tours and other activities”, – stated in the message.

According to the Turkish side, in the period from 5 to 25 September in the Navy of the Turkish Republic held educational practice of the cadets called “the open sea”, the purpose of which is “the acquisition of practical skills in the management of ship operation systems and mechanisms, the enrichment of experience, knowledge, leadership skills development”. Cadets have the opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge in navigation, tactical maneuvering, fire fighting, will hold a sailing training.
