In the Poltava region found incredible artifacts of the old Church Slavonic era

An incredible discovery was made by Ukrainian archaeologists at Poltava.

In the historical and cultural reserve “Bielsko” in the Poltava region, archaeologists have unearthed the sensational finds.

Among the findings – about a dozen of gold jewelry intact amphora of the Scythian period, for arrowheads and ancient leather.

Archaeologists have unearthed a mound completely, still working on the second. In the first discovered remains of the horse, a copper plaque and arrowheads. In the second – the remains of two members of a wealthy family, household items and jewelry, according to TV channel “Ltava”.

Excavated items date back to the sixth century BC.

We will remind, in December of 2016 the district court of Amsterdam decided to return to Ukraine, collection of the Crimean museums, known as “Scythian gold”. The exhibits were previously in the museums of the Crimea, but for the exhibition were taken in the Netherlands.

Note that demanding the return of the exhibits turned Museum, subordinated to the occupying power of the Kremlin. In turn, the decision of the court of the Netherlands was established to return the jewels in Ukraine, because the exhibits are the property of the Ukrainian Museum Fund and not one particular Museum.

Exhibition in the Netherlands opened in February 2014, a month before the start of the Russian occupation and annexation of Crimea. Among the exhibits – artifacts of Scythian gold, jewels and swords of the ancient Greeks and Scythians. The cost of collection is estimated at $ 1.5 million.

After the court decision, the museums of the occupied Crimea said that they are preparing an appeal.
