In the Odessa region court sentenced a man to three years imprisonment with a probation period of one year for stealing a mobile phone from the judge’s chambers.
The duty of the Podol Department of police addressed the judge with a statement that his office is unknown stole the mobile phone worth more than three thousand hryvnia.
The police found that the thief was a local resident, who, taking advantage of the absence of a judge office, stole an expensive gadget and fled the scene. The offender managed to sell the phone, but police seized it and returned to the victim.
The man reported about suspicion in Commission of a criminal offense under part 3 185 (theft) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
By consideration of materials of criminal proceedings in a court session the defendant completely admitted his guilt. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment with a probation period of one year.
