In the Odessa region authorities c.Cuba Bolgrad district dismantled monuments to Soviet and party leaders, Vladimir Lenin and Mikhail Kalinin.
According to the Bolgradsky district state administration, Kubacki the village Council couldn’t find funds for the dismantling of the monument in accordance with the law on decommunization in the period up to may 2016.
“The joint efforts of the Odessa regional state administration and Bolgrad RGA found the necessary funding and special equipment, which was carried out the dismantling of monuments”, – reported in administration.
According to the report, local authorities and villagers had joined the demolition works.
