In the Odessa region a new record of Ukraine

The champion was the longest holiday table.

In the town of Balta, in the North of Odessa region, which is October 6 celebrated the 491 years from the day of its Foundation, set a record of Ukraine on the longest holiday table.

The main location of the celebration was the Central square of the city, which brought together numerous guests, official delegations (not only from different regions of Ukraine and neighboring Belarus), representatives of the public, members of ATO, the soldiers of the Baltic garrison.

The guests also got acquainted with national and cultural peculiarities of life of the citizens, visited the art exhibition and masters of decorative-applied art under the open sky, to become parties to various master classes.
During the celebration of “under the sky” set a long table that guests filled out a variety of treats — dishes of the national cuisine. The length of the table amounted to 140,8 meters.

According to the chief of Department of public relations and media Balta city administration Anna Rybicki, a fully decorated table with dishes of Ukrainian cuisine, appropriate attributes prepared exclusively by local residents. In particular, students and staff of educational institutions, scientists and representatives of various organizations.

Achievement — the longest holiday table — officially registered by the representative of the Ukrainian Book of records.
