The mechanism of sanctions provided for in the decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, will develop the Cabinet of Ministers, the security Service and the national Bank of Ukraine. This was announced in the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine on Tuesday, 16 may.
According to the report, the decree also provides for the creation of a unified sanctions list for individuals and businesses.
It is assumed the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures to individuals involved in the holding of illegitimate elections in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation on the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol.
The sanctions also apply to legal persons of Ukraine located in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol in connection with confirmation of the fact of their illegal re-registration under Russian law.
In addition – to physical persons-to citizens of Russia (investigators, judges, employees of law enforcement agencies) involved in the illegal prosecution and illegal actions against Ukrainian citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation whose activities threaten the information and cyber security of Ukraine.
