Honda is actively testing its new sedan – Honda Civic SI, which was recently spotted during testing on American roads.
Photospin filmed the prototype of which, apparently, is bigger than its predecessor, at least visually.
The new Civic SI was seen in Ohio, where the vehicle was tested in the camouflage protection of the body . The prototype of this model was equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, but the production version is likely, the novelty will receive under the hood a 200-horsepower unit to compete with the VW GTI and Ford Focus ST.
It is not clear yet, whether will debut the new sedan Honda Civic SI this year at the same time with the coupe or not. At the upcoming Geneva motor show, the Japanese promise to show “charged” version of the Civic Type R with a 2-liter turbocharged engine 300 horsepower.
