The statement of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the readiness to put forward his candidacy for presidential elections in 2018 provoked a sarcastic reaction on social networks.

“I’m going to nominate his candidacy for the office of President of the Russian Federation”, – declared Putin at the rally-concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Gorky automobile plant.

So, Arkady Babchenko, a well-known journalist and blogger from Russia, gave a sarcastic comment about the “unexpected extension” of the current President of the Russian Federation.

The sarcasm of the author was supported by the commentators of his post, one of which is aptly remarked: “somewhere in the corner, embracing each other, wept bitterly for in the Constitution and Common sense.”

Also, the commenters posted more and a caricature of a famous artist Sergey Elkina on “the election of Putin”.
