Ukrainian investors have placed in the accounts of the savings Bank more than 11 billion UAH, said the national Bank.
In Ukraine at the moment, there are about 1.2 million depositors of the savings Bank subsidiary of Sberbank of Russia. This was reported by a member of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Furman ZIK.
He said that these persons had placed in the Bank more than 11 billion UAH.
“If we take the pessimistic option is that the Bank will be liquidated, at the expense of the guarantee Fund will be offset by 3 billion UAH. Ie in the first place incur a loss themselves Ukrainians, and the amount of losses will exceed 8 billion,” said Furman.
He stressed that the fate of banks with Russian capital in Ukraine, including the savings Bank, shall be resolved exclusively under the current legislation.
