In the Lviv region launched a solar power

New solar power plant in the Lviv region at a cost of $ 10 million.

In Yavoriv district of the Odessa region opened a terrestrial PV solar power station “lake”.

About it reports a press-service of Lviv regional state administration.

It is expected that the power plant will produce green electricity that in the future, provide a profit from the sale of “green” tariff.

“This discovery becomes the mascot of the energy savings in an investment road map for Lviv, Ukraine, for the future,” — said at the opening SES first Vice Prime Minister — Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.

RSA expects that the creation of such solar power plants will increase the share of alternative energy in the electricity sector of Ukraine and will reduce the level of use of hydrocarbons in the production of electrical energy. The investments will amount to $10 million.

“Today’s 10 MW is a symbolic positive contribution to the energy independence of the state. Cases we demonstrate that Ukraine grows, develops and she is able to function in modern technologies”, — said the head of Lviv regional state administration Oleg sinyutka.

According to RSA, the plant covers an area of 14.6 hectares, and the total capacity of installed solar panels (photovoltaic modules JASolar) is 9.9 MW. For Lanham, SES will be able to produce around 11 million kWh per year.
