The city Council of Lviv established a separate Department to resolve problems with the export of waste. This decision was made today at session of the city Council, reported on its official website.
According to the decree, the new Department will be comprised of two divisions: management of operational waste management and management system development of waste management.
In turn, the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy said during the session that the city worsened the situation with the export of waste. According to operational information, now in Lviv 423 overflowing garbage site. The situation in the Shevchenko district, where such plowed 169.
“Today on the territory of Lviv missed more than two thousand tons of waste. As of Friday all of the major landfills that have accepted waste in the region are closed. We are there to take out waste,” said Garden.
