Exploded found in an explosive device.
The incident happened in Uzyn, Kiev oblast. This was reported by a communication section of the regional police page in Facebook.
“In Uzyn, on-site sugar refinery explosion. It is established that the explosive device was dug up on the field during the harvest of sugar beet. Explosion of ammunition occurred from mechanical damage, when a plant employee injured his shovel” – shared with the police.
49-year-old man was injured in the explosion. He was taken to the hospital where the victim died from severe injuries.

“During the inspection of the plant other explosive devices or residues that are not detonated, explosives have not found. With the scene removed the deformed metal fragments of various shapes and sizes of artillery shell during the Second world war,” wrote the police.
