In the village of marianivka near Kiev found the remains of 23 soldiers who defended the approaches to the capital from the Germans in 1941. Specialists restored the sequence of events: the Germans stormed the position of the Soviet soldiers twice, the first attack was repulsed, the second time the German soldiers are invading tanks destroyed the fortifications. While it was possible to identify 5 of 23 soldiers at the expense of the capsules with the data that was carrying military.
The outskirts of Kiev in the area was defended by fighters of the Abkhazian division of the Ukrainians, the Russians and the Chechens. Thanks to the discoveries searchers have managed to recover an important historical fact: in the postwar years of the Abkhazian division was defamed in opinion and disbanded, because it seems that the commanders and ordinary soldiers left the battlefield and fled.
