Half a million people in half a day dropped to 66 million trees

Representatives of the Guinness world records watched the installation of a new world record in a time of enormous environmental event held in the Indian subcontinent.

According to the plan, along the banks of the Narmada river, flowing mostly across the territory of Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, were planted on 66 million trees. In the environmental campaign was attended by over half a million people. It happened throughout the day. At the moment, the fact of the record of Guinness Book of records is yet to be confirmed.

If, however, the achievement will be recorded, this action will break the previous record, also set in India to 2016-th year. Then during one photoperiod were planted over 50 million trees.
