Observers checked media reports about the shelling.

In the report of the Special OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine reported that the observers checked the media reports of the damage in residential areas in government-controlled village of Novoluganskoe (53 km North-East of Donetsk) due to the attacks that occurred on August 12.

Metal bearing gas pipeline three metres from the house was broken in half. According to CMM, damage caused by the burst of a shell fired from the weapon system of unknown type with a North-West direction. The home owner reported that a shell hit the pillar on 12 August,” – said in the message.

Observers also saw Pushkin street, 5, a small funnel on the plot of 10-12 m to the North-North-West of the house, according to estimates from bursting shells fired from recoilless rifles (SPG-9 73 mm) from the North-North-West direction. The North-Eastern wall of the house was damaged by splinters, and a small area of the garden burned corn. The owner of the house showed the observers the tail stabilizer of the projectile recoilless rifles (SPG-9), which, according to her, she found after the explosion on August 12.

Observers saw a small funnel at a distance of about 5 m to the North-West of the house on Pushkin street, 3, and determined that it was formed from a grenade or an RPG projectile recoilless rifles (SPG-9) fired from the North-North-West direction.
