In the Donetsk region killed two young women

Women strangled and set on fire.

The suspect is a recidivist, who for ten years was serving a sentence in prison for murder and robbery.

Militiamen detained the man who was strangled and set fire to two friends in Mariupol apartment.

The bodies of the dead girls 1987 and 1989 found rescuers during fire fighting on July 19. As examination has shown, the two friends killed.
“Experts have established that the death was not by fire but by suffocation. When studying the crime scene we discovered a few fires. The killer to destroy the evidence and to add work to the operatives set fire to the apartment”, – have informed in police.

Investigating the crime, police interviewed local residents and during the day, completely restore the picture of what happened.

It is established that before death the victims met with a man in a place of entertainment. When the police arrived on the scene to interview staff and witnesses likely future developments, the employees of the institution began to show resistance to militiamen. As a result, one policeman was slightly injured.

In the school, the police seized photos and footage and identified the suspect. However, at that time, the killer already knew what he wanted and went into hiding.

To catch the killer, the police organized an ambush, closed all the entrances-exits of the city and connected to the search for the commandos. In the result, the suspect was detained. He was a man born in 1986. According to police, previously, he spent ten years serving a sentence in places of deprivation of liberty for a premeditated murder interfaced to robbery, and was released from prison in November 2016.

Now started pre-trial investigation under part 2 St. 115 “murder of two and more persons” the Criminal code of Ukraine.

The suspect faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
