In the Donetsk region embroider the map of unity of Ukraine

In Mariupol craftsmen embroidery create a map of unity of Ukraine, which will be a record.

The action started on June 22 in the village of Skala-Podil’sky district of Borshchiv (Ternopil region) on the initiative of the national master Irina Kharatin and master of art embroidery Tatiana Dakinis.

The canvas is 3 by 1.5 meters will record the size of the embroidered map of Ukraine, with 6 thousand crosses. Previous embroidered map of our country was 5.8 thousand crosses.

The coordinator of the shares in Mariupol became head of the folk club “Makosh” Svetlana Meshkova-Davydenko. “This map is a kind of field of prayer fueled by positive energy of people from all over Ukraine. With a needle and thread cross over the cross we join the hearts of Ukrainians into one whole”, – says Svetlana.

The card will be embroidered in Mariupol until 2 January. Next, she moves in Severodonetsk (Lugansk region), then in Kiev.
