In Kurakhovo police arrested a former militant from the band “Diesel”.
In a course quickly-search actions police officers together with the SBU established that in the winter of 2015, resident of the city of Kurakhovo Maryinsky district participated in activities of an illegal armed formation “DNR”. Mercenary terrorists worked as a driver and loaded shells.
This was reported by the press service of GUNP in the Donetsk region in Facebook.
It is established that in January 2014, a 41-year-old resident of Kurakhovo decided to go to the occupied territory and earn money there. In Donetsk, street of Kirov, the man saw the structure, similar to a military unit. There, he was offered free accommodation, position of the driver and the salaries of 15 thousand rubles a month. The gunman was given shape, automatic weapons and identity, in the same day, the new recruit entered the service. On the basis of the first mechanized battalion “Diesel” the man was carrying ammunition, had taken up a guard and trained at the site near the town of Torez.
It is reported that after five months in the so-called “DNR”, the driver of the terrorists got only about half the promised amount. And in may 2015, during unloading of ammunition the man was injured and was forced to leave the service, he returned to Mariupol, where his wife was waiting.
In the result of investigative activities former militant was discovered and arrested by the police Mariinskij together with SBU in the place of residence.
Pre-qualification of the fact – part 2 of article 260 (the creation of illegal armed formations and participation in them) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides imprisonment for the term from 2 to 8 years. Investigative actions are carried out.
