In one of the colonies of Donetsk region exposed 9 banking and the Internet-swindlers
The police together with the Prosecutor’s office carried out searches in one of the colonies in the Donetsk region and found two criminal groups involved in fraud online and the banking sector that were undercover employees of the prison administration, and divided among themselves dividends, according to the division of communications of the National police in the Donetsk region.
Law enforcement officers found that the criminal plan was not alone: in the first case operated online fraud, and in the second the criminals represented themselves as employees of banks and in the course of non-existent banking operations transferred to other people’s savings. Also, the illegal earnings connected criminals and not prisoners ‘ relatives.
Prison officials took payments for allowing the use of mobile telephones, computer equipment and all private Bank accounts for transferring money from the victims.
Employees of criminal investigation Department of the police of the Donetsk region on 9 November 2017 9 simultaneously conducted searches at the place of residence and stay of all accomplices and seized 37 mobile phones, about 47 Bank cards, 5 units of computer equipment and fraudulent business practices.
