The envoy of the self-proclaimed DND in the contact group on conflict settlement in the Donbass, “the Chairman of the national Council of the Republic” Denis Pushilin has predicted a further escalation in the Donbas.

“Unfortunately, we predicted it. The aggravation is fixed by August, so it was in the past, and in the last year. We are waiting for the help of the international community to put pressure on Kiev. If this does not happen, then it will lead to new victims, destruction and the threat of renewed full-scale hostilities,” – said Pushilin.
According to him, “’tis the season” on the line of contact in August proves destructive policy of Kiev at talks in Minsk, his unwillingness to discuss the indefinite “silence regime” in Donbas.
