A drug courier is arrested.
Employees of the security Service of Ukraine under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office stopped the import from Europe to Ukraine a large consignment of drugs – hashish.
According to law enforcement, the smuggling was planned through Ukraine transit to a neighboring state.
“During customs control of a passenger bus in the Ukrainian-Hungarian border field investigators of SBU detained the resident of Chernivtsi region. Among his personal belongings, police found and seized three boxes, where the intruder hid under the guise of children’s hygiene products is almost thirty-three kilograms of hashish.
The cost of the withdrawn consignment of drugs on the “black market” makes over $500 000.
“The courier announced on suspicion of committing a crime under part 3 St. 305 Criminal code of Ukraine the measure of restraint in form of detention”, – stated in the published message.
