From October 29 to control points of entry and exit are switching to the winter mode.
Control points of entry and exit in the area of antiterrorist operations are switching to the winter schedule, in accordance with the Interim order of the control over the movement of persons, vehicles and cargos (goods) across the line of contact in Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This reports the press center of the state border service.
“From October 29 this year, the passage of persons and vehicles will be implemented in a new time frame being set for the mode of operation of checkpoints, from 08:00 to 17:00. Thus all PPC is becoming less”, – stated in the message.
As explained in the office, changing the time mode is primarily associated with security component and is aimed at ensuring the safety of civilians crossing the line of demarcation, as daylight decreases, and in the dark increased the risks of attack from illegal armed groups.
