Tactical aviation of the southern military district in the annexed Crimea and Volgograd region were alerted in the framework of tactical flight exercises, which are held by the Federation. This reports the press service of the defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.
It is argued that these exercises are routine in nature, they involve about 30 aircraft.
“The crews of bombers su-24M, su-25 and su-25SM will work the destruction of equipment, facilities, and bases of conditional illegal armed formations and their large warehouses of combustive-lubricating materials, weapons and ammunition,” – said in the message.
For four days the crews have to make more than 120 sorties.
