The morning of April 27 on the outskirts of the village near Ternopil Petrykiv unknown poured an oily liquid a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and wreaths near it.
Chairman of the Jewish community of Ternopil region Igor Baserock announced that he had asked for the incident to the police, SBU and interval Consul of Israel in Ukraine Gennady Polishchuk and the leadership of the all-Ukrainian Jewish organizations.
According to him, over the last ten years, such acts of vandalism on the grave of Holocaust victims was done six times. Attackers are never arrested.
