The airstrike caused severe damage to residential buildings

In Syria, the aviation regime of President Bashar al-Assad dropped 16 vacuum bombs on residential buildings in the Syrian opposition-controlled area of Houla in HOMS province.

According to the correspondent of the Agency in the field of fighting, an airstrike killed one local resident who was among the victims are women and children.

“The district is simultaneously exposed to attacks from the air and from the ground. Caused serious damage to residential buildings”, – stated in the message.

We will remind that since may 6 at four zones of de-escalation in Syria began the truce, which was agreed before the participants of the talks in Astana. Safe zones are located in the province of Idlib, in the Northern part of the province of HOMS, in Eastern Gaute near Damascus and in southern Syria.

May 4, at the talks in Astana signed a Memorandum on the four areas of de-escalation in Syria. The Syrian opposition has refused its execution in order to preserve the territorial integrity of the country.

Vacuum bomb (the ammunition of volume explosion) works on the principle of creating a dust explosion due to spraying of flammable substance in the form of an aerosol and its detonation. Vacuum bomb could have power comparable to nuclear weapons.
