The head of the terrorist group “Islamic state” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi detained in Syria.
It is reported that al-Baghdadi was captured by Russian and Syrian joint military forces.
DESI Secretary General noted that this happened after al-Baghdadi was forced to leave Mosul after the onset of the Iraqi troops.
Details of the deal have not been disclosed. In DESI added that Russian President Vladimir Putin may use it during the next Geneva Convention.
