Two hospitals in Switzerland began testing the delivery of blood samples for analysis with the help of drones.
According to The Verge, since mid-March, the drones have made 70 test flights. If trials are successful, the system will work on a permanent basis by 2018.
According to the representatives of Swiss post, which began testing a similar delivery, health staff can do to load the samples in special containers, designed for drones, and launch the drones with a smart phone app.
The UAV will fly an Autonomous route, which was determined in advance. On arrival, the container will take the employee to another medical institution.
