In Sumy the tax collector was selling personal data

The man faces a prison term.

In Sumy militiamen detained a senior tax inspector for the attempted sale of sensitive databases of the State fiscal service (GFS).

“The police found that the malefactor has agreed to sell a local resident for 26 thousand hryvnia confidential information from the databases of the state tax Sum. Buyer “interested in” information about economic activity of the enterprises of the regional center that are engaged in passenger and freight transport”, – told in SBU.

The investigators also documented two facts of sale by the tax collector of ammunition for an automatic weapon of caliber 7, 62 mm.

The police detained the inspector in the center of Sumy during the transfer of money. He seized flash media with confidential information with databases of entrepreneurs, which belongs to bodies of the SFS.

Criminal proceedings opened under part 1 article 263, part 3 of article 368, and part 1 of article 361-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
