In Sumy region found unique cemetery

The builders dug up the cemetery of the XVIII century.

In Glukhov, Sumy region, the builders found an ancient burial of the XVIII century. About it reports a press-service of the regional police.

The cemetery was located at a depth greater than two meters, there were found many human remains.

The police are looking into their origin and the period of burial.

According to a guest archaeologist, this area is a historical part of the city, and given the location of the remains there is an assumption that the builders dug up an ancient burial according to Christian rites of the eighteenth century. In addition, there were found remains of pottery.

This event, the police brought in the unified register of pre-trial investigations Specified bones removed for further expert studies.
